Bring a Contemporary Skating Seminar to Your Rink

American Ice Theatre seminars can travel! We offer our contemporary and artistic figure skating seminars at any club or rink location nationwide. View our already-scheduled upcoming seminars, or learn how to bring one to your area below!

Our seminars are typically led by co-CEOs, Kate McSwain and Garrett Kling, but faculty directors of all AIT locations including Chiquita LimerAnnette Thomas, and Molly Olson — can lead seminars where prearranged. In addition, AIT-Certified Choreographers from AIT’s online intensive choreography course, Master Choreography Techniques, also frequently lead and assist in AIT seminars across the globe.

Seminar Tuition & Private Lessons

  • Full-day seminars: $1200
  • 3.5 hour short seminars (recommended along with private lesson choreography): $600

Since the cost of the seminar is a fixed rate, there is no required minimum number of skaters, but a maximum of 35-40 skaters is recommended.

We also typically offer private lessons for $100/hour before and/or after the seminar to work with students on their own programs and skills, for the maximum artistic experience. The hourly rate is typically paid directly by skaters.
