Get Involved with American Ice Theatre
There are lots of ways you can get involved with AIT, connect with others, and learn more about the contemporary skating movement! You can:
- Learn with us! Our extensive education and training, includes:
- Join us at CORE Camp;
- Attend the next American Contemporary Skating Festival;
- Participate in the Adult Weekend Skateaway;
- Skate with us! You can:
- Perform with us at the US Open; and
- Join a skating performance company at one of our satellite locations around the country.
- Compete with us! Our online opportunities are:
- The Virtual Artistic Challenge: an online, artistic skating competition and fundraising event. This event occurs annually in March, and is for skaters of all ages, levels, and backgrounds;
- The Young Artists Showcase or Quest for Creativity online choreography competitions;
- Develop your career with us! You can grow with AIT by participating in:
- Our mentorship program, with opportunities to learn, teach, choreograph, and perform as you grow your knowledge, connect with a community of like-minded artists, and launch your contemporary skating career;
- Continue your education with a scholarship by applying for the annual Ricky Harris Scholarship Award; and/or
- Explore becoming an AIT director and opening a satellite location.
